| Spectacular double room in shared apartment 30 seconds away from parc lafontaine, available June 1st. It's a lovely Montreal style apartment with hardwood floors and high ceilings, two porches, (two fridges) and majestic radiators that put out an astonishing amount of warmth in the winter months. You would be sharing the main floor with two other roommates and I live separately in the basement when I'm in town (as a touring musician I travel often). Alec, 32, works for Canada Post and is a sought after DM and former landscaper who enjoys cooking in the company of others but generally likes to unwind in his room after a long day of work. Gaurav, 26, is a Phd student in linguistics who has been living here for three years and is ready to move on to a place of his own, so his room will be available on July 1st, though he’ll be around for your first month to show you the ropes. Maintaining a calm orderly home environment is a priority for us. The price includes heating, hot water, hydro, hi-speed wifi, kitchen appliances and washer/dryer. Basically everything is covered but the room is not furnished. Aside from the park which is a one minute walk away, there is a neighbourhood supermarket just around the corner, as well as bus service and a bike path within about a block. The place is non-smoking and, as mentioned, with a big emphasis on quiet, cleanliness, and an overall calm/relaxing atmosphere. Looking for people in their mid-twenties to mid-thirties either in school or working who want to stay for a year at least. If this sounds appealing to you, get in touch and tell me about yourself. Vous partageriez l'étage principale avec deux colocataires et j'habite le sous-sol quand je suis en ville (je travaille souvent à l'extérieur de la ville). Alec, 32 ans, travaille à temps plein chez Postes Canada en plus d’être un DM recherché à ses heures et ancien aménageur paysagiste. Il aime beaucoup cuisiner avec ses colocataires mais préconise aussi son temps seul dans sa chambre, surtout après une longue journée de travail. Gaurav, 26, est au Doctorat en études linguistiques et habite l’appartement depuis 3 ans. Il nous quittera malheureusement à partir du 1er Juillet mais il sera ici pendant votre premier mois pour vous partager les secrets de la place. C’est une bâtisse avec énormément de cachet avec ses plafonds hauts, ses planchers en bois franc, et ses radiateurs super performants (chauffage extraordinaire l'hiver). C'est propre et paisible et le parc est à 30 secondes de marche pour ceux qui aiment se ressourcer sous ses grands arbres. Il y a des autobus et des pistes cyclables très accessibles dans les environs ainsi qu'un super marché qui dessert tout le cartier directement au coin de la rue. Nous cherchons des gens qui ont l’habitude de communiquer et de vivre en colocation et qui désirent maintenir un espace propre et calme avant tout. Le prix est tout inclus (chauffage, eau chaude, hydro, wifi haute-vitesse, 2 frigos, poêle, micro-ondes, et laveuse/sécheuse) mais la chambre n'est pas meublée.
