Lake Savard is 1 1/2 hrs north from Saskatoon or 15mins from Shell Lake. There are breathtaking views of the lake side and roaming hills which have two buffalo jumps. The cabin and area are part of the historical Carlton Trail and is rich with history. Lake Savard is a private lake with no public access. It is also a conservatory that has many animals such as blue herons, cranes, beavers, pelicans, loons, river otters, salamanders, deer, and moose just to name a few. The lake is non-motorized (BUT DOES ALLOW 4-6HP MOTORS FOR TROLLING.) It is a very calm lake and is ideal for canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. It is approximately 4kms in length and 30-60 ft in some areas. Being that the lake is private, THE FISHING IS PHENOMENAL and you can catch numerous walleye and northern pike in a single outing. The area boasts of endless walking trails as well as quad and skidoo trails which are also excellent for cross country skiing! It is a lakefront property with a firepit 20ft from the waters edge which is fantastic for watching the amazing sunsets, fireflies, and Northern lights! There are 1 1/2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms which sleeps 6 with a hide a bed. We offer a bbq for your use as well as firewood at no extra cost. It is $225 per night with 3 nights minimal stay or $1275 per wk. There is a FREE canoe rental with a weeks stay. A canoe rental is $17 per hr. or $80 for a day.
