| Hi, our cozy bright little basement suite in Knob Hill (2 blocks from Crowchild & 17th ave) is available for just the month of September for a single person with no pets. This is a private and good sized bachelor suite in a lovely little vintage home that we strive to take really good care of and always have well professionally cleaned. It's bigger than these photos seem as well. The suite is fully contained and- and we only share the laundry room in a separate part of the basement that we always kept clean and tidy. We are looking for someone who is maybe in town for work and only needs a place for September. CLEAN is our biggest concern. We are a busy little family upstairs who have worked in property management and cleaning and so have high standards in this regard. Upstairs we are just into sober clean living, healthy food, gardening, and the outdoors. We’re friendly but we mind our own business. This is basically a chemical free home so we don’t allow chemical fragrances and cleaners. This is not a great place for cooking tons of very pungent foods as this is a sub floor carpeted suite in a cold country. Please no one who grew up with servants, only people who grew up with the now old fashioned values of ‘take good care of your home and it will take good care of you’, ‘clean home=clean mind’, ‘leave no waves in your wake’, etc. This is a home and property strictly for non smokers and non vapers but pure 420 outside is fine. You have a seated space in the front yard under a lovely tree with gardens around you if you want to chill outside. Price (which is firm) includes utilities, wifi, and, property care. Street parking is through the city but we can see about sharing the driveway for the month. Utilities are included but we don’t pay for excessive use such as people who feel the need to do laundry every day or constantly have several long showers that drain the hot water tank. Just a normal reasonable amount of cooking and showers and laundry and it’s all fine. There is no storage outside of your suite but if you have say a large suitcase you want out of the way it can be stored in the garage. Deposit is 600$ with a cleaning fee taken out at the end of your stay and then promptly returned. We ask you to leave the suite by 11 am on the 1st of October as clean as possible as we have a very good cleaner who arrives and does the professional finishing touches. She is very good but she is quite busy and costs 50$ per hour so the nicer you leave it the less of your deposit will have to be spent on her making it sparkly for the next tenant. Sorry but we ignore all replies that are anything but a friendly and communicative introduction to yourself the person asking to live in our lovely city centre home. Oh also, you must like or at the least not be afraid of dogs. We have dogs upstairs and they are not in your space but once in a while you might meet them at the side entrance and we just prefer to rent to people who are good with dogs. Thanks, take care! |
