| We currently have one opening in our singles, usually 40+ male dominated house - close to the inner city (ie in the 'South Calgary / Marda Loop' area). Please, its only for non smoking (including no pot), light social drinking, mature, respectful of others types for approx 2 months, or maybe longer. We currently have a lease only until the end of August, then we may get renewed until next April or we may need to leave at that time. We will know the length of term we have some time in early July. (the house is scheduled for demolition and rebuilding at some point). Everything but food and personal items is included in monthly rate (ie rent, utilities, wifi, cable, detergents, TP, cleaning supplies, etc). Just bring your clothing, some bedding and your personal hygiene items. Perfect for newcomers to Calgary to have a stable base to determine where you want to live longer term. We are all used to living very independantly so we respect each others' space and lives. The kitchen is stocked with cooking utensils, plates, etc. The house is fully furnished. We have laundry in the basement and an extra office space should one want to use it. We use headsets on stereos, TVs and computers to keep sound invasion to ourselves. Yes, company is allowed but no overnight guests. Should you have anyone over to visit, guests will need to follow the 'house rules' that are posted, and you are responsible for them.
