| We are looking for someone to take over our lease for a 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment located in the Beltline area at 12th Ave. The rent is $1850 per month for a 750 sq ft unit, available from October 1st. The apartment is a 12-minute walk to Kerby Station and about a 15-minute walk to 8th St Station, with easy access to 17th Ave. The apartment is south-facing and includes a balcony. We are currently on a Working Holiday Visa and have been living here for the past 6 months. Despite not having a job at the time of our lease signing, the landlord, who resides in Vancouver, was accommodating and has not been intrusive. Therefore, even if you are also on a Working Holiday Visa without a job, you should still be able to sign the lease (as long as you pay the rent on time). The apartment is unfurnished, but utilities include heat and water. It comes with essential appliances: dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, washer, and dryer. Though we’ve furnished it minimally, we are willing to leave behind a desk, kitchen utensils, dishes, and a microwave if desired. The lease runs until February 2025, and we are seeking someone to move in from October 1st. Renewal options are available. The space is suitable for two people, but three can comfortably live here. Typical utility costs are $50-$60 per month for electricity (for 2 people) and $30-$40 per month for internet. We have set up the internet separately, and it’s available for takeover, though the contract is valid until February 2026. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to see photos. |
