This house is located in the delightful neighbourhood of Bonnie Doon with close access to Millcreek Ravine, La Cite Francaphone, Bonnie Doon Liesure Centre, Bonnie Doon Mall, Whyte Ave, and downtown. I’m looking for a basement tenant to share this property with me. The suite has one bedroom and an office/second room (with electrical panel and under the stairs access), living room, kitchen and bathroom. Rent is $1100/month, utilities included. Backyard, small garage, and laundry are all shared. Damage deposit is equal to one month rent. No dogs or cats. A little about me. I’m currently renting the property and looking to sublet the basement to help offset rent. I enjoy woodworking, campfires, biking, hiking, gaming, reading, and sharing meals. I work at the library and value quiet spaces, connection, creative expression, kindness and the outdoors. Ideally looking for a working professional who sees home as a place of quiet, rest and comfort, preferably working daytime hours. As the house is not soundproofed, there is an expectation of being very respectful in terms of noise. If you like to have guests over consistently, especially in the evening, or if you like to listen to music via speakers regularly, this is not the property for you. Signing a 6 month lease with the hopes of extending it if it’s the right fit. Available December 1st (or possibly sooner). |
