| *Please read the entire ad and respond with some info about yourself* Looking for a female roommate to share the upper floor of a beautiful house in North Burnaby. You would be sharing the space with one other female and there’s also a couple living downstairs. Rent is $1224 + utilities and is available December 1 or 15. The house is very spacious with beautiful wood ceilings, large windows and great light. The main floor of the house includes a huge kitchen equipped with everything you need (including a dishwasher), and a bright living room and dining area with lots of greenery. There are 3 rooms upstairs- 2 are bedrooms and one is a guest room/office. We have a huge patio upstairs and a covered patio below, plus a large grassy space in both the back and front yards, and a big garden. Located in a quiet neighbourhood in North Burnaby, but only an 8 minute walk from Holdom Skytrain station- Skytrain to downtown in 35 minutes. 5 minute drive or 10 minute bus ride to lots of shops and restaurant options on Hastings. Who you would share the space with: My name is Brett (yes, I’m a girl!) and I’m 35 years old. I love to travel and am always up for an adventure! I love camping, going to the beach, and generally being outside in nature. I also like to cook (okay, I like to eat which makes cooking a necessity!) as well as photography, playing volleyball, reading, and doing creative projects. I work at an animation studio and have been working from home for the last few years, but my newest project will also require me to be in the office once or twice a week. If you want to get more of a feel for me, you can check out my instagram @bretsky_swanson My sister and her boyfriend live downstairs. Meigan (37) is an art therapist who is currently in school doing a counselling program. She loves to dance and runs art and movement based workshops from time to time. Bryce (37) works as a set decorator for the film industry, as well as a coach, and likes to make jewellery and other art. They both also love being outside, gardening, camping and eating delicious food! They have their bedroom, bathroom and kitchen downstairs so the spaces are fairly divided, but the yard and laundry room are shared and they sometimes come upstairs to use the dishwasher or to share a meal. They have 3 lovely cats who inhabit the whole house so cat lovers are appreciated! Unfortunately we can't have any more pets. Two things that are important to us in the house: We all really value having a clean and tidy house so we are looking for someone who feels the same. We are also a fairly early-to-bed household and enjoy having a peaceful home, so it may not be a great fit for a night owl.
