I’ve lived here for 2 years, and I’m sad to leave because this has been such a central, affordable, beautiful spot in one of my favourite neighbourhoods in Winnipeg. Rental details: -Rent is $1096, includes water + heat. I pay Hydro. -Lease is up April 2025 -Damage deposit is 1/2 month’s rent, pet deposit is 1/2 month’s rent -Rental company will require 2 years recent rental history and proof of income, or have proof of full-time school funding upon application -Limited pet policy: Spayed/neutered cat allowed with deposit, (sorry, no dogs!) unsure about other pets Features: -spacious living room & bedrooms -baseboard radiator heat, hardwood floors refinished in 2022 -ample counter space and storage space in kitchen (additional room for more storage/shelving or a small dining table in kitchen to left of fridge/oven) -windows facing North, East and West, lots of natural light and beautiful sunrises/moonrises visible in master bedroom and living room (which overlook a park/Young street) -coin laundry is steps away from my suite, located across the hall on third floor (second washer/dryer on first floor) -street parking, or monthly parking space available for additional cost (~$74/month) -double-door buzz entry (deters mailbox theft, unfortunately also traps Skip/Doordash drivers on occasion) -note: the mirrored cabinet in the bathroom is mine. I am also interested in selling this item if you’d prefer the additional storage it provides instead of the simple wall mirror provided by original furnishing. Surrounding area: -park across the street is a nice green space including a community garden, large field and skate park.
