| Renting out a lovely basement bedroom suite in my home for $700 per month which includes utilities. The basement is fully renovated very tastefully. New windows installed 2 years ago. It is ideally located in the Westend, close to the university of Winnipeg and RedRiver Community College, both the main campus and downtown campus. It is perfect for students. Public transit is readily accessible. The basement suite has a carpeted bedroom with double bed, closet, dresser, night stand, and desk. Also included is a furnished living room and electric fireplace. Additionally, it is furnished with a 4 person dining table. There is also a beautifully landscaped yard with patio and BBQ available for your use. Complete disclosure, I own a loving cat who loves people. I cannot however have any further pets added to the house. The shared space in my home is the kitchen, bathroom (shower only) and laundry. There is street parking available. In the winter I move my vehicle into the garage. This allows for a plugged in spot for my renter. This would be at an additional $50 per month. If you are a couple the rent will be adjusted to $1100 per month. Because we would be room mates, I’m looking for a quiet, responsible, mature person. Rent must be paid on time. No parties, no smoking, no drugs. This will lead to an automatic eviction notice. The lease will be a month to month agreement. I will need 30 days notice.
