| Winter/Spring rental (November 5th 2024 to May 5th 2025 only) available to book and for VIEWINGS, immediately. Gorgeous 4 bedroom 5 bed 1.5 bath traditional refurbished Saltbox home, situated in peaceful Crocker's Cove, which is located in Carbonear NL [1 hour & 10 minutes from St. John's ]. Fully, comfortably furnished right down to the cutlery. Mattresses are virtually new and top quality. All you need bring are your towels and bed linens. Huge private leafy lot with old mature maples and wild rose bushes. Parking space for 2 vehicles, 3 if you are very adept :) Lovely beach is a 20 second meander from front door. Rental Details: Duration: this is a winter/spring lease, from November 5th 2024 to May 5th 2025. The rental fee is $950 per month. This includes hi- speed internet. All other utilities are Not included. This large space is being rented at a low monthly price because heat can prove costly in older homes in the winter. During the Very coldest month, similarly sized homes can have heating costs of up to $550 for a month (and depending how heat is used by tenants, it could be lower or even higher at Peak cold, say between 450 and 750 $ a month.) Heat sources are electric and/or oil. We have good relationships on the ground with local plumbers, handy people etcetera, should tenants require their services at any time. Other house amenities include a large flat-screen Roku TV, and electric fireplace -which can also serve as heat source. There is also a BBQ and a small propane-fuelled firepit in the garden, the use of which can be discussed. Tenants will provide their own propane, which is easily obtained in the community. Water quality is excellent. All appliances big and small are provided, but there is No dishwasher and the small hybrid washer/dryer unit is very slow and accommodates only very small loads at a time. Carbonear has public laundromats to use for bigger loads. If you are seeing this advertisement the property is still available. Regrettably, animals/pets are Not permitted. No smoking or vaping in the house. The matching shed is our storage, thus is inaccessible to tenants. For serious inquiries only, we will also arrange to talk 'in person' i.e. by phone, Zoom or FaceTime. We ask for two easily-reachable, reputable references, one of which would ideally be a former landlord. We ask, as is standard in NL rental agreements, for the last month's rent and a damage deposit (which is usually 75% of the cost of 1 month's rent) at the time of signing. These can be e-transferred. Municipal town services are provided, but snow clearance is the tenants' responsibility. This is a very bright, cheerful space and alot of love has gone into its renovation. Ideal for singles, couples or families. The neighborhood is near a good hospital, schools, shops, grocery stores and restaurants. Not to mention breathtaking natural beauty.
