Since 2008, this building will provide you with: -roaches and bedbugs - building/ maintenance managers on rotation to dodge your complaints and get nothing resolved or remedied - no heat in the winter, and freezing temperatures felt in the unit. No air conditioning in the summer - low pressure water in addition to no hot water to shower with or wash your dishes with. To be fair there may be hot water available at certain times but only 5% of the time. So if you go inspect and try out the water if there is hot water insist you go back to check at a different time as chances are there will be no hot water 95% of the time. -poor management and communication skills - balconies overlooking either the back parking lot looted with trash and children playing in it or a busy and chaotic Bathurst street backed up by cars. All this and a loss of your peace of mind all for the incredible price of 2-3k a month! Do not do this to yourself, homelessness is better then the stresses and money you will lose for renting here. Do your homework and research before moving into any rental unit by looking them up online, making sure everything is in working order etc. For anyone in this situation I advise the first steps you take are to the LTB and or 311 to start your demanding for your right to proper living conditions. It is a human right. Do not be deceived. |
