| I am starting my search for the roommate of my dreams ✨ I am renting out my 600 sq ft basemant with lots of natural light and big windows. Located in Colborne Ontario. About me: I am a mom with a 7 year old, We have 3 dogs in the house. I enjoy having a friend over every now and then or having a playdate for my son, but I am by no means a social butterfly. I enjoy quiet time and board games and having the occasional potluck. I have been sober for 3 years now. I enjoy gardening. Keep in mind there will be a certain level of baseline kid-noise that comes along with a 7 year old. About the space: 600 sq feet, 6 big windows, Accessible by back door. You will be sharing a kitchen with me, You will have your own bathroom. There is also a big patio for use. My main area has lots of houseplants and natural light, and dog hair everywhere. We have geothermal heat from the pond on our property, solar panels, and a wood stove. We are located just down the road from 401 in Colborne Ontario. About my potential roommate: they are ideally female (sorry men.. you're being discriminated against this time!). They enjoy being around kids, and are not scared of or allergic to dogs. They do not smoke, do not party heavily, and they enjoy a healthy lifestyle. They also hopefully have an understanding of healthy communication styles and are an empathetic and caring human being. As we already have 3 dogs on the property, we sadly do not have room for more dogs. Also, because I value my things and my houseplants, no cats will be allowed either. Unless it's an old cat who does not chew houseplants. Bunnies or rats or raccoons will be considered. Move in date: April 1st, as there are still some finishing touches happening to the loft. A possible earlier move in date can be discussed. Rent: 1250$/ month for a single occupant (possible discussion for a couple or a mom + child), including everything (fast wifi, hydro, garbage, etc) |
