| We have a basement unit available for rent for a single person who is a quiet professional or student. Please note that we are looking for one person and not two for this room. This is our family home, so we are looking for someone who would be very respectful and considerate and who does not mind children or small pets. We do not accept any use of smoking or recreational drugs in our home and there would be no visitors or overnight guests permitted. The basement is accessible through a shared entrance on the main floor. The rent includes the room, and just outside the room, a sitting area with TV, a kitchenette, and a bathroom. The area outside the room is sometimes shared with us or one other person, but not always as we are typically upstairs. High-speed internet and all utilities are included. We could arrange for laundry in the evenings or weekends a couple of times per week on the main floor for an extra cost. Parking is also not included in the rent, but could be an option if needed for an extra cost. Our home is located in the Chicopee Hill/Idlewood area of Kitchener. The closest bus route is 23 and Fairview Mall is 10 minutes away by bus or car.
