| $875 all-inclusive (utilities, A/C, internet) Looking for a woman or nonbinary person to recommend for our landlord to rent this room to. It's in a shared house with four other roommates: two men (27 & 38), one woman (28), and one non-binary person (26, myself). Move-in date would be August 1st. We're hoping to meet interested people early this week, so we have a person to recommend to our landlord before July 1st, About the house: The house is in downtown Kitchener, two blocks away from Kitchener City Hall. It's a 3-minute walk to the ION and several bus routes. There are also two grocery stores within a 3-minute walk. We have a shared kitchen, bathroom, a living room/dining area, and basement. If you are a cyclist, there is room for your bike! There is also a small backyard and a cozy attic with a projector where we watch movies sometimes. About the roommates: We share the common chores between us (cleaning washrooms, kitchen, and floors, etc. weekly) and have a chore chart where we write when we do each chore. We try to have monthly meetings to address any issues, and to plan how to improve the space. We have guests over occasionally, sometimes for group games nights, or for dinners or birthdays. We occasionally socialize together. We're looking for someone queer-friendly who will be interested in working together to keep the house in good, tidy order. |
