Description
Hi, I am Timothy, I am a retired electronic technician. I am looking for an UNFURNISHED room on the upper floor of a house, condo or apartment with a private BATHTUB, as I cannot take a bath standing, this is my priority choice. My second choice is a private room with shared bathroom with only one other tenant who will always clean up after use in the clear, uncongested and bright bathroom with a sparkling clean bathtub (I believe scrubbing with just a little bit of recycled water in the tub is more energy efficient than continuous flow of clean water down the drain in a shower). I also need a parking space for my small Honda Civic. I have a single bed, a 6' folding desk, a 3' x 2' dining table, an old TV set and many apple boxes. I also have 3 mini-refrigerators (20" x 20" x 33"), so I don't need to use your refrigerator, I need to have them in my room for convenience. I am also looking for a benign, friendly, nondiscrimintory and empathetic landlord to enhance my livlihood so that I will feel there is no place like home. I have secured pension income and an Equifax credit score of 802 which is rated as excellent. I will not be lay off and unable to pay my rent. About my characters and living habit: I am health conscious, I don't smoke, I don't consume alcohol, I have no visitors. I am quiet, neat and well organized, I always keep my home clean and the hardwood floor dust free. I do very little cooking, I eat the same meals everyday: Oatmeal in the morning and chicken and rice in the early afternoon, all is done in a pressure rice cooker. I spend most of my time doing research in the internet, playing the stock market, listening to music and watching the huge collection of movies and films on big projection screen. I also spend a lot of time posting music videos in Youtube for fun and leisure. I go exercising and jogging in the woods twice a week to keep my health in good shape. I can still run 500 feet per minute that is equivalent to 5 miles per hour. Despite of my age, most people think I am in my 40's without any wrinkles and I do feel, talk and act as If I am so. My blood pressure is steady at 115/75 and my family doctor said I look 50 and have a body condition of a 40-year old while I will be 76 year old soon. I still wish to go camping and travelling to the Caribbean and enjoy the second half of my life. About my residence history: I sold my condo in downtown Toronto and moved to Mississauga for cleaner air and less traffic congestion. For the past 10 years I have been living in a leased condo in the Square One area. My landlord said I am the best tenant ever as I helped him fixing problems in his unit, saving him money and kept his unit in good shape, he lowered my rent much below market price, reference is available. Currently I am living in a rooming house for short term lease as the landlord will be moving to US later this year, reference is also available. I regret I did not buy a condo 13 years ago with the $400K I made in the stock market, instead, I leased one. After paying nearly $1/2 million income tax in my working life, I afraid I shall be homeless and end up living in a cardboard box under a bridge amid unaffordable housing and aggravated by discrimintory home owners. Pierre Trudeau named the current prime minister after his vision of a "Just Society" but it seems such name is a misnomer. In the next election I will vote for the government which cares for the livelihood of retirees and is empathetic for their well being. Young Canadians of today are indifferent, may be they think they will never see their own old age era. But I did prepare for it and partially discovered the secret of longevity and hopefully, immortality. About my education and career background: I grew up motherless as a child in Hong Kong and grew up as a teenager in downtown Toronto, graduated from University of Toronto in Electrical Engineering. My Thesis on "Magnetic levitation of vehicle" scored 85% from Gordon Slemon, a professor and the Dean of Electrical Engineering at University of Toronto. I retired as a test engineer from a big electronic company in the aerospace industry after 31 years of service, my job involved testing and troubleshooting analog/digital printed circuit boards and collaborating with liason engineers on implementing changes in test procedure and corrective measures in circuit and component designs. The company is a manufacturer of Inertial Navigation Unit for commercial aeroplanes and military aircrafts, also in US Navy ships. During the economic downturn in late 1980 recession I volunteed to monitor production defects by drawing SPC charts on daily basis as a side job and over the next 2 years, defect rate had declined significantly, thus reducing retest cost, rework cost and material cost. I am well liked by my co-workers and by my supervisor, they said I am diligent, devoted and responsible, some said I am the "heart and soul" of the company. They said I am cute and they, including my boss, called me Timmy. While eating my favorite homemade chicken and rice, my co-workers said: "My goodness, you eat all that? It feeds my whole family!" Guess what were the dinner entries in the company's 25th year anniversary party in Harbor Castle Hilton Hotel at the Habor Front in Toronto? Salmon stake or baked chicken and rice ! . .
