| I am looking for an UNFURNISHED room on the upper floor of a house with west facing big windows, a private bathroom with a bathtub or a clear, uncongested shared bathroom with only one other tenant. I also need a parking space for my small Honda Civic. Preferred location: Creditview-Rathburn-Burnhamthorpe area. I also wish for a benign, empathetic and flexible landlord to enhence my livelihood and make me feeling "there is no place like home". I have a single bed, a 6' folding desk, a 3'x2' table, a CRT TV, a microwave oven and many apple boxes, they contain essential and hobbies items. I also have 3 mini frig, they have 5-star energy saving rating. I don't need to use the refrigerator in the kitchen. I need to have them in my room, if there is not enough space, please give me storage space for my boxes in the basement or in the garage. I am trying to get rid of as many boxes as possible, I have already eliminated 2 pieces of exercise equipment, a solar panel, a 5' banquet table, a vaccum cleaner, a 3' round glass table with umbella, an Aiwa stereo, either sold or given to my current landlord. I am a youthful looking retired electronic technician, many people think I am in my 40's. I grew up motherless since 2 years old in Hong Kong and grew up as a teenager in downtown Toronto. I have a degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Toronto and retired from a big electronic company in the aerospace industry after 31 year of service. My starting salary was $167 per week, my salary at retirement was $1,044 per week, I have paid nearly $1/2 million income tax in my working life. I am well liked by my co-workers and my supervisor, they said I am diligent, devoted and responsible. My job involved testing, troubleshooting and fixing analog/digital printed circuit boards used in the Inertial Navigation Unit in commercial and military aircrafts. I have secure and steady pension income. Income statement is available. I have an Equifax Credit Score of 802 which is rated as "excellent". I do very little cooking, I eat the same meals everyday: Oatmeal in the morning (done in a microwave oven) and rice porridge with meat and vegetables in the early afternoon (all done in a rice cooker). I don't use the stove. I don't smoke, I don't have visitors, I am quiet, considerate, neat, tidy and well organized, I always keep my home spotlessly clean. My Indian landlord said I am the best tenant ever as I helped him fixing problems in his condo unit and kept it in good shape, reference is available. Currently I am living in a house for short term lease, I am well liked by my landlord (a couple of Indian vegetarians and work-from-home IT professionals) who from time to time offer me tasty pan cake made from lentil flour, green bean flour, or corn meal. My landlord will be migrating to US and are contriving to lease the whole house out to just one family through a property management corporation. Reference is available.
