Description
***We are looking for a similar minded roommate (politically left/LGBTQ+ friendly/drug friendly/open minded/creative). If you respond to this ad, please give us a blurb about yourself and how you think you’ll fit in with us. Short messages about being interested will probably be ignored, no offence. Cheers. ISO: a third roommate Rent: $920 per month, which covers everything (power, heat/AC, Internet etc). We also put in 10 dollars each a month to cover kitchen and cleaning supplies. Move in: November 1, 2024 Location: St. Lawrence Market/Distillery Term: 6 months minimum, then month to month. At least 2 months notice to move out. Rent Control: rent increases for this unit are capped at the annual provincial guideline because this unit was lived in before November 15, 2018 Relationship to unit: current tenant The Room: The room is on the cozy side, but there is an adjacent sun room that can be used/shared with Roommate 2. You will also be sharing a bathroom, also with Roommate 2. The room comes with a queen bed, desk, office chair and a set of drawers. There is also a built in wardrobe. You’re also free to decorate the room with furniture as you see fit. It was recently painted. Accessibility: Elevators and stairs Requirements: first and last month’s rent, key deposit, tenant agreement More information: Ideally we’re looking for a mature minded roommate in their 30s who doesn’t work from home, as two of us already do (please still reach out though if you do). Our biggest wants are someone willing to do their fair share of cleaning. For example, if you only want to wash your own dishes, it probably won’t work out. Pay rent on time. Take out the trash when it is full. Usual grown up type stuff. Nothing crazy. Existing roommates are Roommate 1 and Roommate 2, in our mid 30s. As mentioned, we’re both work from home. Outside of work we both have creative endeavours. Roommate 1 records music and Roommate 2 is into sewing and photography. There is also a third roommate called Dexter, a 12 year old golden doodle. We have friends over every now and then for board game nights, drinks etc. LGBTQ+ friendly, drug friendly. We also put work into trying to make the apartment better through DIY etc. We’re trying to make it a home, rather than just a place to sleep. If you have any further questions, please don’t reach out. hesitate to reach Thanks
