| Lease assignment. Current lease goes until August, then month-to month. Entirely above-board, you will have to pass income and credit checks from the property management. Ideal takeover Dec 1, but may be flexible. 550 Lang's Road. 6th floor apartment with a balcony and reasonably nice view. Rent is 1699/month + hydro extra (through Metergy) heat is included. Right beside the Montfort hospital and a few minutes drive from the highway at Aviation, Montreal, Blair, or St Laurent. Parking is available as extra through the property management above-ground or underground with first and last deposit month-to-month basis. Perks: -Large bedroom with large, 2 section closet -Large living room big enough to fit whatever you can imagine (my couch is 11 feet and there's still a solid 6 feet of length) -open counter between kitchen and living room, amazing if you like hosting or just like to keep watching tv while you cook -fitness room -smart laundry facilities with card. You can track your cycles online to avoid extra trips -pet-friendly! -rent-controlled (built in 1975) -modern stainless appliances (fridge/freezer, range, dishwasher) -large bike room (currently have 2 spots allocated) -ready for fiber optic Internet/tv -almost directly on top of buses to Parliament, Gatineau, and the transitway/otrain -brand new windows and patio doors being installed over coming weeks (starting early Nov) While AC is not included in the unit, portable AC units are allowed and I'll gladly include my current portable AC when you take over the lease as a little bonus and a thank you. My honest opinion? It's a nice unit with a lot more space to be cozy than my previous unit at a lower price and there are lots of awesome people and pets in the building. Property management is quick to respond. It's a nice place at a solid price in today's market and the only reason I'm looking to assign the lease is that I'm moving in with my partner. Added bonuses: I'll gladly leave any of the below items as a bonus for taking over my lease if you'd like them -Endy mattress (was approx $800) and the bed frame (pictured) -portable AC that I used this summer -countertop microwave unit -high pressure showerhead with hose(the included one is less than stellar) If you're interested, please let me know. You will have to pass the income ratio and credit score checks that the property management requires and will have to provide first month's rent ($1699) and last month's rent deposit to move in. Tenant insurance is required (mine is about $27/month, but yours may vary) and hydro is extra. Prioritizing speedy takeovers. Storage lockers available for an extra fee, but I'm not familiar with the details for this. |
