| Big, bright room to rent in warm and friendly family home close to the university—and everything else. I am a mother with a partially empty nest looking to invite a student to share my home from January to June, and possibly longer. A student from Europe would be even better! I offer: - a spacious, furnished, room on the top floor of a beautiful old home in Old Ottawa South—steps from the Rideau River and Canal; - spaces such as the garden, living room, dining room and home office for respectful shared use; - full board. I like to cook and bake good food, and enjoy sharing meals when possible; - heat, water, WiFi, laundry and street parking; - a caring household where people are not judged by their skin colour, sexuality or social status but embraced for their commitment to be respectful and kind. I am looking for: - a conscientious, considerate, quiet, cat-loving person who can imagine themselves happy in a smoke-, drug- and mostly alcohol-free household such as mine; - a person with an appreciation of the little things, and a desire to grow by learning more about the world around them and, also about themselves.
