| I’ve turned half of my house into a kind of boutique short- term hotel. Rooms are locked and come fully equipped with a comfortable queen size bed and all the trimmings. This is a shared experience with the other guests (3 rooms total) and includes 1 full bathroom and a half bathroom and a kitchenette that has a full size fridge, eating area and tv area, toaster, microwave, but no actual stove. The area is just beautiful with plenty of trails to traverse, I even have a nice trail on my property to use. We have use of the boat launch just down the street with access to the private beach at Hurd’s lake, which has a barbecue and fire pit, about 5 minute walk from house. Small cats and dog friendly, but they have to have manners, no chewing anything and noise to a minimum and get along with other guests and animals. |
