| Furnished room for rent in beautiful new house all inclusive (excluding meals), asking $1,000 per month. Starting August /September, 2024, available till April/May, 2025, we would like to share our modern, architect-designed home with the right individual--no couples stays. We are a professional couple, and a student. It's a big house and we've got lots of space. We've had a lot of university students come to live here and it has always worked out so well. We've had wonderful students from China, Korea, Iran, USA, France, Trinidad and Canada. We'd like to continue that trend! You are a professional or student who enjoys living communally but also knows how to respect other people's privacy and space, and help do some communal cleaning. We prefer someone who is working outside of the house at least part of the working week. We also prefer someone who is NOT a perpetual night-owl; we are all early risers. Early morning conversation, talk, and other sounds shouldn't be a problem for you. The house is steps from Little Koreatown and the buzz of Bloor Street, Christie Pits Park. There are excellent supermarkets in the area, an indoor and outdoor pool close by as well as a yoga studio next door, great restaurants and shops in the area. We are an eight minute walk from Christie Subway station, easy 10 minute bike ride (BikeShare station in front of house) or subway ride to University of Toronto, all of downtown and the lake. This is a great tree-filled quiet neighbourhood, a brand new house, nice yard, all amenities included, excluding meals but you have use of the kitchen at certain times of the day. Sunday dinners are usually communal meals which we are happy to include you in. We are easy-going, well-travelled, social people, very busy (and occasionally boisterous!) Korean, Spanish, French, and Greek are our languages, though we primarily speak English, French, and Greek at home. Your room has a huge window, you have access to various amenities in the house (laundry, garden) and wireless internet. We look forward to hearing from you!
