MIDTOWN TORONTO – PRIVATE 2nd floor bay window fully furnished ROOM over looking mature tree lined street. Shared bathroom (with 3 boarders not the family) & kitchen. INCLUDED wifi/laundry/utilities i.e a GREAT DEAL for a SINGLE QUIET PERSON , CASH ONLY first and last required, six month minimum. This is not a lease arrangement; this is not air B&B, this is not week to week. This is two month minimum and ideally six months or more. Shared living in a 2 person family home with 4 boarders. One room and ONLY one person. It’s one person no guests, period. That is the trade off as we have a nurse working shifts right next to this room which is across the hall from the single parent homeowner. It’s not a frat house; it’s not an apartment. We have cats and birds this is for animal lovers. A lovely front yard with a swing for you to use in the summer and a Koi pond and BBQ to use in the summer – but not for parties, for you, quietly, to enjoy. We are looking for people who leave to work or go to school – we are not looking for a person running a business out of this one room in a busy home i.e if you work from home, this is not for you because a nurse on shift work is sleeping next door to you so you can’t be holding zoom calls and running meetings from your bedroom etc. Send full details about yourself, including where you work, what you do and how long i.e how you pay your rent is key point. And additionally, if you are a student, include how you pay your rent and what program, what school and what year you are in. Reminder, if you course is virtual you can’t sit home all day as again, someone is sleeping next door ( a nurse) so you have to go to the library in that case i.e most day of the week, we are looking for people who leave, the home is too busy for one person to be there constantly 24/7 in the house using the shared facilities and keeping night shift worker up during the day. Indicate where you live now, and why you are moving into a furnished room (this is a risk based question i.e where is your own furniture now as you cannot bring any furniture here, at all, there is no where to store your stuff, this is a home it is not an apartment building there is no garage and street parking only, no permits on this street).
