It’s likely one of the largest bedrooms in downtown Toronto The home is a must-see! It can be shown in mid June – by appointment. The room is available for only one person. It is ideal for a mature friendly, easy-going, responsible and respectable male who prefers the freedom and comforts of living in a spacious home in downtown Toronto rather than in an expensive small impersonal high-rise apartment/condo. The home has a spacious living room (with TV and 2,000+ channels), a large renovated kitchen, free laundry facilities, a nice backyard and is within 4 blocks of 3 TTC subway stations. The house seems to always be super quiet, perhaps indicating that happy active people live here. The location is awesome -- quiet street (though only 3 blocks from Yonge and College), lots of nearby grocery stores and a 24 hour Rabba a little block away. Also close to Central YMCA, UofT, TMU, Cabbagetown and Riverdale Farm. The home and property, are smoke-free and drug-free. The room and house are extremely quiet. Anyone that sees the home loves it -- and the price, especially for downtown Toronto, is great. *** Price includes all utilities and household expenses (laundry detergent, cleaning supplies ...) as well as super high speed, unlimited high (fibe) speed internet, Wi-Fi, and more. Parking is easily available for about $12/month (street permit parking) on the street. *** The home has been recently appraised at about two million dollars – so it’s like living in a mini-mansion. The backyard is reputably the biggest within 3km of the CN Tower (though it only takes 10 minutes to cut – LOL!). There is no residential garden within 2 km of Queens Park that is larger than ours!! The large room faces west and overlooks the forested back yard. Super Quiet! The first four photos, after the photo of the house, were taken in the room. Shared accommodation is available for short term (1 month) or longer. There is no lease commitment although a minimum one-month notice, is required before moving out. First and last month's rent (less any upfront deposit to secure it) is payable upon moving in.
