| One bedroom in a two-bedroom unit on the second and third floor of a house, near Bloor x Ossington. Unit includes kitchen, living room and bathroom. The deck overlooks a shared backyard with nice neighbours. Laundry is in basement. The room is partially furnished with a bed and some storage (see pictures). Dates: October 15 2024 (flexibility to move in earlier) – December 31 2024 (flexibility to stay longer if it suits us both). PRICE: $1000 plus utilities (approx. $80 – 150/month, depending on the season). I’m a 40-year old woman working in academia, meaning that I split my work day between the university and home. In my spare time, I like to do yoga, bike, walk, swim, cook, watch films, and occasionally have friends over for dinner. I try to keep the apartment as clean and homely as possible. I’m looking for someone to share my home temporarily, ideally a roommate who I can cook/share meals and/or hang out with on occasion, but I also like my quiet time and respect when others do as well. I would prefer to rent to someone with a similar work schedule to myself (meaning: regular hours). Respectful and open communication is a must! This is a short-term let, but if the situation is working for both of us then the lease could be extended to the end of April. The room is partially furnished with a bed and some storage (see pictures). If you think we would be a good fit, please write to me with some details about yourself. RENTAL TERMS: Off-lease roommate.
