| This is a 2 bedroom apartment at Queen & Dufferin. I’m currently living here with my brother but I’ll have to move out in January. I could coordinate a January/Feb move-in. DETAILS ABOUT THE APARTMENT: - It’s on the first floor, conveniently close to the exit - Only one bedroom available for rent (my brother will be living in the other) - Bed frame, mattress, shelf, and lamp is available for your use (in the picture) - The window in the room leads to the solarium - 1 den/solarium that my brother uses as an office and to store his bike (you can use the desk that I’ll leave there to share the space as an office) - 1 shared bathroom (tub) - 1 shared kitchen - A jacket closet - A storage room - Our place does have the tendency to get quite humid, so we try to open the windows everyday for air circulation - This is a smoking-free environment - There’s no balcony DETAILS ABOUT THE BUILDING: - Laundry room is shared with everyone in the building on the first floor - There is underground parking, but we currently aren’t paying for a spot (we can look into how much this could cost) - There’s a small gym on the first floor - It’s a 10 min bus ride to Dufferin Station on the green line COST OF LIVING HERE: - Luckily this place is rent controlled! - Rent right now for that room: $917 (not including utilities) - Internet: $32 (at this moment) - Hydro: approx $55 - Insurance: $25 (at this moment) ABOUT MY BROTHER: - My brother is fine with pets, as long as they’re friendly - He’s very organized and clean, and would expect you to be too in the common areas - He’s 29 years old - Speaks English, Spanish, and French - My brother doesn’t have any dietary restrictions or allergies (he will literally eat anything, including the most odd things) If you’re interested, send me a message and we’ll schedule a chat with my brother to see if you’re a good fit! |
