Description
Looking for a roommate to take one bedroom in a 2 bedroom home by Harbord Village! Ideal for UoT students or young professionals working or commuting from this area! Details: - December 1st move-in date, with 8 month lease. Options to extend or arrange a shorter term arrangement as well. - Rent is $1,400/month for the smaller bedroom, INCLUDING ALL UTILITIES + WIFI - 900 sqft space, with high 11-12ft tall ceiling. Part of a newly-renovated antique building with a few other units attached. There's a shared yard/patio, but we get this entire unit to ourselves. - 1 unfurnished room available in furnished home. Features a large eat in kitchen and a 5 piece bathroom with a shower, bath, toilet, and bidet. The bedroom comes unfurnished but common areas have furniture and kitchen has utilities (kettle, microwave, etc.) - Shared yard/patio space with areas for gardening. - Convenient location: Safe, friendly neighborhood with lots of nice cafes, restaurants, and shops. 10 minute walk east to U of T campus, ~10 minutes to Bathurst subway station, ~5 minute to bike share by Bathurst and College. Walking distance to Kensington Market, The Annex, and Little Italy. - Building is pet-friendly, but they'd need to get along with my sweet, elderly corgi. - Coin laundry across the street (pic included) About me: I am a graduate student at the University of Toronto, looking for a responsible roommate to share this space with me and my dog. My schedule is pretty busy, so I'll be spending a fair bit of time to myself or working on my research. That being said, I'd love to create a friendly, welcoming home and work together to build a positive roommate dynamic. In my free time, I like to read, cycle, and cook. I'm more than happy to share meals with roommates as well. It's important to me that we have an open and honest relationship, and are able to problem-solve maturely and proactively. I also value cleanliness and a fair distribution of responsibilities, so I'd like to set up a chore calendar or other way to coordinate that.
