| Greetings and peace be with you. I am a single celibate Christian running an organic broiler chicken farm for Maple Leaf. God has granted me care of this farm and with it comes a massive 6 bedroom farm house. Sharing this space with other christian homesteaders (or aspiring to be) is an instruction given to me by our Lord to carryout the ministries that stem from this place. I use as much of the things I am given to bring glory to our Lord. Ministries include: - The growing and giving away of fresh food to the needy. Preparing fresh meals for struggling families. - In house bible study's - Property used to host church events and worship services a couple times a year. The right person(s): -You love the Lord with all your heart and believe in the finished work of Jesus Christ (by your fruits I will know) -You don't have dogs or cats of your own(other pets are ok) -You have a desire to be involved with homesteading practices. -You love animals. Here we have 6 cats, 2 goats, 15 back yard layer hens, and a barn full of broilers. -You have a job and can afford to pay some rent and chip in on winter bills. (Rent will be determined on an individuals needs) -You are a Christian in a dire situation and don't fit any of the other criteria and are in immediate need of relief and the Lord lead you to this Ad. We (God and I) have big gardens to grow food and space to raise up meat birds. The area and neighbours are primarily all Christians and we thrive under Gods grace and provisions for us. It is a beautiful 250 acre farm with a back 40 woods and river for fishing. Deer and turkeys can be seen year round. Recently some Bald Eagles moved into our forest patch.
