Renews on July 1st. Women or NB people only, no men. Ages 25-32. Location: Le Plateau, 1 min walk from Mont Royal metro station. Vibe: Clean, social house where we enjoy spending time together, and you’re welcome to have people over. Unfortunately no pets. The sunniest apartment you can imagine! 2 large windows let in sun to your bedroom in the morning, and in the afternoon, the wall of windows in the common area steep the whole living space in a warm glow. There’s laundry in the apartment. The room is pretty large, there’s comfortably room for a queen bed and a desk. The bedroom is furnished at the moment and you can buy that furniture from our departing roommate. Or we can figure out selling it if you already have stuff. Hailey and I like to have a very loving, social home, we catch up at the end of most days, see what each other is up to. We sometimes share meals together, watch a movie, go out to events, we’ve gone to a number of the marches for Palestine together. We like to host friends for a nice dinner party or brunch! We’re both big on leftist politics and enjoy a good discussion on that. Hailey (soon to be 27, she/her): I’m from Ottawa, I’ve lived all over, but I’m currently loving Montreal. I’m an anglophone, but I’m working on learning French! I work from home as the comms director of a climate movement, which I’m very passionate about. I’m big on cooking and baking, and like to share my creations. I enjoy a good craft project and going to see live music. I’d say my energy is sweet, outgoing and goofy. I love having a close relationship with my roommates, staying up giggling together, caring for each other when we’re feeling down. My partner, Ethan comes over about once or twice a week, they’re super sweet! Sarah (soon to be 30, she/her) : I moved here from France last summer, and I’m having a blast in Montreal! I speak French, English, and Arabic fluently. I’m always down to hang out with my roommates, to be silly or also extremely serious together! I work from home or the office, in marketing, which is not my calling but I’m really passionate about paying rent!! My friends are amazing (of course) and I like to have them over from time to time. Hailey got to know them too and they really get along! You: We’re looking for someone aged 25-32 ish. Either a woman or a nb person who’s down with big femme energy. We’re looking for someone who’s social and wants to be part of our community! We do have busy lives and we’re not always doing things together, but it would be nice at a minimum if you’re someone who’s up for little chats throughout the day, and hopefully you could join us when we do stuff together! Also, yeah, queer friendly home, Hailey’s queer, also, would want to make sure that her partner who’s NB, that their pronouns would always be respected. And then as I said up top, the room is currently furnished, but you can either buy the furniture or we can sell it for our departing roommate! |
