Description
I have a room to offer in my cozy 3-bedroom apartment nestled in a calm and clean neighbourhood in the heart of Côte-des-Neiges. The room is available from August 1, 2024. Minimum 6 months occupancy. The rent? CAD 850 per month, covering all essentials: heating, hot water, natural gas for cooking, and high-speed internet. Electricity is covered for standard use. We’ll have to come to an arrangement if you intend to use a high-consumption device like an air conditioner. You’ll, however, need a tenant insurance, which costs around CAD 20 per month. The laundry in the building houses two pairs of washers and dryers and is free for use by tenants. The room? It is furnished with a comfortable double bed, a desk, a chair, a nightstand, a shelf, a mirror, and a ceiling fan with lights. The room has a window which keeps it well-lit and well-ventilated. There is also a spacious wardrobe. Apart from your personal space, the apartment offers a generous living area. Location? It couldn't be better! You're only a short walk away from the 161 and 165 bus routes and the Blue and Orange Metro lines. HEC Montreal and other university pavilions, as well as a variety of grocery stores, pharmacies, shopping centres, a park with various sports facilities, a gym, restaurants and cafés, are all within a 15-minute walk. If cycling is your thing, three Bixi Bike Rental stations are just five minutes away. And for those late-night snack runs, corner store open until 11 PM is right around the corner. Your Roommate? I'm a 30-something IT professional, working at a multimedia studio in Montreal. I value a clean, calm living environment and respect privacy, but also enjoy communal activities. Whether it's whipping up some dinner or brainstorming for a DIY project, I enjoy the shared moments that make a house a home. Despite my ongoing journey to improve my French, I'm dedicated to fostering a warm and friendly atmosphere. A small, but important note: While i love a good dinner party, the raucous college-style bashes aren't quite my speed. Respect for my tranquil space is key! If this sounds like your ideal living situation, please get in touch. When contacting me please tell me how long you would like to stay, what your move-in dates are, and a little about yourself.
