| English follows. Grande chambre, chaleureuse, sèche, sécurisée, calme. 275$ + 80$. Nous avons un grand appartement 4 1/2 au sous-sol partagé entre trois personnes. Les deux chambres proprement dites (avec de vraies portes) sont occupées. Le « salon » serait le vôtre (il a un rideau pour porte). La chambre sera disponible le 1er juillet. Pour sa défense, la vôtre serait la plus grande pièce. Il est semi-meublé avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin, même si vous voudrez certainement ajouter quelques éléments. Le lit est actuellement un lit superposé, car la personne précédente avait occasionnellement des enfants en garde partagée. Nous louons la chambre à UNE personne, cependant, cette chambre n'est pas destinée à être occupée par deux personnes. (Je pourrais éventuellement négocier une exception pour une mère célibataire par ailleurs parfaite avec un enfant.) Le quartier est résidentiel NDG avec l'autobus 51 (Métro Snowdon) s'arrêtant juste devant l'immeuble. Aux heures de pointe, le bus passe toutes les 5 minutes, et même aux petites heures du matin, toutes les 15 minutes. L'appartement fait face au parc Loyola qui est charmant. Je suis un gentleman de 65 ans pratiquement toujours de bonne humeur. Je suis tout à fait capable de tenir une bonne conversation, mais j'ai tendance à passer la plupart de mon temps dans le cyberespace, etc., dans ma chambre. Je suis un géorgiste libertaire de gauche, si cela vous dit quelque chose, socialement libéral, mais politiquement conservateur. Je suis un fanboy d'Elon Musk. Si cela vous dérange, nous ne sommes probablement pas la bonne personne. L'autre type est un immigrant africain d'une quarantaine d'années qui travaille dur et passe également la plupart de son temps dans sa chambre. Nous organisons une journée portes ouvertes samedi entre 13h et 17h. La chambre ne revient pas à la première personne qui dit oui. Nous voulons une bonne personne, quelqu'un avec qui nous serons à l'aise de vivre. Le propriétaire exigera soit une attestation de solvabilité, soit un mois de caution en plus du premier mois de loyer. Le loyer est d'environ 275 $ par mois plus 80 $ par mois pour l'électricité et Internet. Nous sommes non-fumeurs et apprécierions que vous l'étiez aussi. Un chat ou deux seraient les bienvenus (en supposant que vous soyez religieux quant au nettoyage de la cage du chat), mais un chien serait un problème. The two bedrooms proper (with actual doors) are taken. The 'living room' would be yours (it has a curtain for a door). The room will be available the 1st of July. In its defence, yours would be the largest room. It is semi-furnished with everything you need, though you'll certainly want to add a few things. The bed currently is a bunk bed, as the previous person occasionally had shared custody children staying. We are renting the room to ONE person however, this room is not for two people to occupy. (I could conceivably make an execption for an otherwise perfect single mom with one kid.) The neighbourhood is residential NDG with the 51 (Metro Snowdon) bus stopping right in front of the building. At peak hours the bus passes every 5 minutes, and even in the wee hours of the morning, every 15 minutes. The apartment faces Park Loyola which is lovely. The picture shown is the view from your window. The building itself is old and looks its age. This is not a 'fancy' place, you are not getting the appearance of a $2000. apartment for this level of rent. While we sweep once in a while and pass a mop occasionally, it does not look particularly clean. There are broken bits here and there. The bathroom and kitchen are small but functional. Only one person can cook at a time in any comfort. We have all the necessary items for cooking and such. We have a large storage room in case you are hauling some stuff. I am a 65-year-old gentleman virtually always of good humour. I am quite capable of good conversation, but tend to spend most of my time in cyberspace and the like in my room. I am a left-libertarian Georgist, if that means anything to you, socially liberal, but conservative politically. I am an Elon Musk fanboy. If this ruffles your feathers, we are probably not a good fit. The other fellow is a 40ish imigrant from Africa who works hard and also spends most of his time in his room. We are having an open house on Saturday between 1pm and 5pm. The room is not going to the first person who says yes. We want a good fit, someone we will be comfortable living with. The landlord will require either an attestation of credit rating or a one-month deposit in addition to the first month's rent. Rent is ~$275 a month plus $80 a month for electricity and internet. We are non-smokers and would appreciate it if you are too. A cat or two would be welcome (assuming you are religious about cleaning the cat box) but a dog would be a problem.
