Description
I am looking for a roommate to move into a very large room in my large 4 ½ / 5 ½ apartment. The rent for the room is $715 (all included: 650 rent + 32 internet + 33 hydro), but will increase to $745 (because of rent increase for July, rent to 680) and to ~$775 (because of hydro adjustment for August onward, hydro to 63). The room is available right now, but ideally looking for someone to move in May 1st. I’m open to other move in dates and short term rental. My priority is finding someone who is a good fit for long term cohabitation. The apartment is two floors (1st floor and basement). There is a front balcony and outdoor space in the backyard for BBQ or hanging out. It is located 5 minutes walk from Frontenac and Prefontaine metro stations. Near the intersection of de rouen & Hogan. The room is unfurnished and quite large (around 270 sq. ft. (=~25 sq. m.), but the rest of the apartment is furnished, including the kitchen. Washer and dryer in unit. Several nice parks nearby. Parc Baldwin, Maisonneuve and La Fontaine are easily reachable on foot or bike. Several grocery stores within walking distance. About me: I’m a 35 y.o. man. I work from home. I don’t mind things being quieter, but I also like to invite people over on occasion or host larger get togethers. I’d be fine with a roommate who does the same within reason/moderation. Ideally I’m looking for someone who is respectful of the space and good about cleaning (after themselves and splitting chores to keep the apartment clean). Aside from that as long as you pay the rent on time, I think it can be a good cohabitation. Please write to me with: a little about yourself, what kind of living situation you’re looking for, whether you’re looking for long/short term, and when you’d ideally be able to move in. We can set up a time to chat a bit and have you view the apartment.
