Description
Hey all, I am looking for 2 roommates in my NDG apartment for July 1st or August 1st. I am open to shorter term subletters if the fit is right but I would prefer people who could commit until June 30th, 2025 The home is quite large with in unit washer and dryer, full gas cooking appliances, and AC. On top of living and dining room area areas, there is a work out/meditation room and a balcony that gets lots of Sun. The apartment is located a 10 minute walk from Vendome station with easy access to biking paths and Hwy 20. Across the street is NDG parc. In terms of neighborhood, you can walk either direction on Sherbrook Ave (one way NDG the other Westmount) for shops, restaurants, and groceries and also have Monkland Ave within 10 minutes. I low key love this whole neighborhood because you can get different atmospheres if you walk in any direction. Both rooms can come furnished or unfurnished. The larger room is $950 with a queen size bed and is 4mx3m ($850 unfurnished) The smaller room is $750 with a twin bed at the moment. 4mx2.7m ($650 unfurnished. There is space to upgrade to a full quite easily.) Utilities average around $90/month with winter months being a bit more pricy with heating costs. A bit about me, I am an American transplant in my early 30s. I like to maintain a clean comfortable space. Outside of work, I like to be outside as much as possible. I particularly love biking, hiking, and ski du fond . Shared meals are something I appreciate when schedules align but also we are all adults here, so no pressure on that front. I am a regular cook who will happily share food. I have lived with so many types of people in the past, and am very open to any race, origin, gender, sexuality, etc. I also am working on my French so, French speakers are ESPECIALLY welcome. Once or twice, I do like to host bigger events, but for the most part prefer to keep life in the house on the low key side, as I am a 9-5er. That said, having friends and guests is great, so small group gatherings would be a welcome energy in the house. Our landlords are a wonderful young couple who lives downstairs with their two small children. If this spot is interesting to you shoot me a DM. Looking forward to hearing from you! Jon
